A little bit about Safe Water Network:

SWAP OUT WITH BETTER QUALITY

One billion. That’s how many people today are living without safe, reliable water, and who are beyond the reach of large infrastructure. The need is enormous.

That’s why the late actor and philanthropist Paul Newman and a group of prominent civic and business leaders founded Safe Water Network in 2006, with the mission to bring safe, reliable, and affordable water to those in most need.

With our field-demonstrated small water enterprises, we are operating at scale in India and Ghana, and have already impacted more than one million lives in more than 400 communities. We’re continually optimizing the proposition, building the evidence base, and developing the tools and training programs needed to enable cost-effective replication. Working with implementers, development agencies, and other partners, we’re ready for “breakthrough” impact—bringing the approach to global scale. Through collaboration, we can together reach many millions with an affordable, reliable supply of safe water.
